BACK OFFICE SETUP
Allow your clients to check the weather in the area that they are in. All they need to do is to put in their zip code and they get the forecast.
Sales Tax: Specify the sales tax for the items you sell depending on the state you are doing business in.
Between Rentals Setup Time: Tell RentalPad how much time you need (if any) to get the product ready for the next rental. This effects product availability and ensures that even if your product is rented out to more than one client per day that you will have enough time to make preparations in between rentals.
Zip Code Service Locations and Delivery Fees: Tired of explaining to people which areas you provide service to? Just populate the zip codes that cover your service area and RentalPad automatically keeps clients informed and prevents individuals from outside your service area from scheduling rentals.
Referral List: Set up a list of referrers from which you expect to get clients from. During the checkout process the client is asked to mention who referred them. This is a great way to monitor traffic from expected sources such as ad campaigns and allows you to see where your money is coming in from.
Surface Types: Specify the surfaces on which you are comfortable with having your customers to set up your products.
Call Back Schedule: Every company has a different policy regarding how they deal with confirming orders. This feature prompts the system to remind you when it is time to call (or email etc.) the customer to confirm their order, which basically helps you stay on top of things.
Auto Archive: You can set the auto archive feature to automatically archive old orders so they aren't cluttering up the list of pending and active orders.
Rental Hours and Increments: This section handles all your rental times. Look at the demo under this feature to be amazed as to how customizable the RentalPad system is.
Additional Fees: Companies love this feature because it eliminates all the fine print and shows clearly what additional fees apply in case your customers want something custom.
Holiday Schedule: Teach RentalPad which dates you want the Holyday rate to apply.

Your orders are obviously what you will be focusing on most. Orders are arranged into 3 groups (or stages): New Orders, Reviewed Orders and Confirmed Orders. This keeps them all organized based on where each order stands from when it was placed (New) to when it is finalized and awaiting delivery (Confirmed) and eliminates all the confusion that normally takes place when you are trying to manage multiple orders. You can review every single order and you can send each one to the next stage when it is appropriate. SITE CONTENT MANAGMENT
This module manages all aspects of your inventory: ADD/EDIT PRODUCTS, MANAGE/ADD CATEGORIES, and SET UP SPECIALS.
This tool will populate all your categories with Products. Each Product is displayed on your website with an extensive description including requirements and pricing information.
|Paste Existing Product Info:
Instead of entering the same product information again and again for similar or identical Inventory items, RentalPad gives you the option to paste the information from any of the Products that already exist. It is so fast and simple.
Upload up to 5 Product images.
Product Item Number:
Item Numbers are used to identify specific models. If you have 3 of the same items available for rent then they would all have the same Item Number.
Product Serial Number:
Serial Numbers are specific to each unit. Even if you have 3 of the same item available for rent, each of these individual units would have a different Serial Number.
You can add as many categories as you like.
Product is Featured or Private:
This feature will determine if the product will be displayed on your website or if it is an add-on product that is required by another product.
Such as size, space, surface or any other product specific requirements.
Pretty self explanatory.
you have the choice of day, hourly, weekend, weekday and holyday rates that you can specify per product.
Quantity of this product:
In case you are adding multiple products of the same type to your inventory you can specify it and use the same information (besides Serial Number) for all of them.
You can keep note of who the manufacturer of the product is and specify how much the price was. This will enable your RentalPad product reporter to understand when a product has paid for itself.
Other Important Info
In this area you can specify insurance and required items that come with the product. One other extremely useful tool is the ability to add RECOMMENDED products with this product.
Product Damage Reports
You can keep track of the damages to your units. It has other extensive options that will come handy for your growing fleet.
You will never have any problems changing, adding or removing information on your web site. This module gives you all the tools you need to do just that. You can ADD UNLIMITED PAGES here, your SITE MAP updates automatically as you add or take out pages. A great looking website with the best tools in the world is no good if no one can find you. That's why we allow you a lot of flexibility with what content appears on your site. One of our most innovative features even allows you to manage your own meta tags with ease. Once you have done so it populates your website source code, which helps your rankings on search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
This module tacks your site. It reports on PRODUCT INCOME, TOP RENTED, TOP MONEY MAKERS, TOP REFERALS and INCOME STATISTICS. These reports are not boring or hard to read charts of numbers, but are well designed graphs that allow you to easily visualize your relevant data at a glance. RentalPad uses some of the same tools that multi-billion dollar companies such as Google use. For the first time this type of technology is available to companies like yours at no extra charge.
You can setup every employee of yours to use RentalPad. There are no limits as to how many accounts you can setup. You can limit each agent to only view specific pages or all of them if they need to. This give you total control and ensure a safe and structured way of doing business. The SEND NOTIFICATIONS tool allows you to inform your staff about anything such as: Meeting Tomorrow at 10.00 am or whatever you feel like telling them.
UNLIMITED EMAIL ACCOUNTS
You have your own business, your own website, why not have you own email address (You@YourRentalCompnay.com). Normally you would have to set up your email addresses through your hosting company and then go through configuration steps to get your email client working, and this cycle would continue with each new address you create. All of that is a thing of the past. Need a new email address? Do it yourself in minutes. Give it a desired name and a password and that is all. Your account is automatically put in queue and created for you which then allows you access to your email account through our innovative webmail portal. Don't worry, if for some reason you still want to set up your account in your own email client we'll let you do that too. One other great marketing tool that you will get is MASS EMAILING. This tool enables you to send bulk emails to your established customer base. Send them specials, notify them that you got a new unit in or just simply thank them for their business.
