After selecting your design you will receive an email with a link that will take you to your RentalPad administration utility (what we like to refer to as OfficePad). You will be sent a username and password for your first admin user, that's YOU! So, say hello to RentlPad, your new business and website central command center!
Once you have made friends with RentalPad , you can manage virtually everything related to your business and website. RentalPad is designed to provide you with ALL the management tools you need for your company, giving you the ability to control all your products & inventory, product statistics, customer information, orders, employees, email accounts, even details such as your business hours of operation and the geographic region you provide service to. Once you start using RentalPad for yourself you will wonder how you ever coped without it. It is an extremely powerful tool for your business.
1. My Information
First Step: Company name, contact info, company logo. This will be used to populate the contact page of your website, the automatic system emails, and invoices.
2. Rental Criteria
Second Step: Configure Rental Criteria in the “Administration Panel ” Set Up. This will determine aspects of your business structure, such as how long your rental days are and the earliest time your company is able to deliver rented products. This Module also allows you to specify which zip codes you provide service to and any extra delivery costs that you require from renters in different zip codes. It also lets you set up sales tax in case you decide to sell some of your products; Yes RentalPad is a full functional e-commerce site.
3. Add Categories & Products
Third Step: Your one stop product management spot. This is where you can add products and manage all aspect of each product, including the ability to add up to five pictures, manage rental costs (including hourly/daily/weekend/holiday rates), keep records such as where you purchased the product, warranty information, damage reports, and much much more.
4. Site Content Management
Fourth Step: Your basic site content management utilities. This is where you alter general things on your website such as your welcome blurb and other things on your site such as text and images.
5. Agent Management
Fifth Step: We think this is the "coolest" section because it's all about YOU and your people/employees. This is where you create Agent Accounts for each individual you wish to allow to access various RentalPad administrative tools. We give you the power to grant individual privileges to Agents so they only get access to the tools in RentalPad that YOU want them to have access to. For example one Agent can have the ability to only manage product inventory while another only has the ability to take and alter orders, but there is virtually no limit to the combinations of privileges you can give to any specific user or group of users and the best part is that it's all up to YOU. Oh, and just to make things more fun and to give Agents a real sense of identity we have also thrown in the ability to manage avatars for each of your Agents. We provide an extensive collection of avatars for you to start with, but you can even upload new pictures of your choice to be used as avatars. How cool is that!?
Seventh Step: Last but not least, before you launch your brand new online and offline business it's time to configure your billing and choose how you wish to receive payments from your customers.
